Seeing Through Others' Eyes: Eye Donation Awareness with Empathy and Action

Seeing Through Others' Eyes: Eye Donation Awareness with Empathy and Action

Overview
True vision goes beyond what the eyes can see—it’s about perspective, compassion, and the courage to make a difference. In an inspiring initiative led by MAKING THE DIFFERENCE in collaboration with Jacobs Solutions, we organized an eye donation awareness session that opened more than just minds—it opened hearts.

This powerful session brought together employees, experts from the eye bank, and educators from the Helen Keller Deaf and Blind School, fostering a deeper understanding of visual impairment and the life-changing gift of eye donation.

Goals
The session was thoughtfully crafted to:

  • Encourage individuals to take the eye donation pledge

  • Educate participants on the impact and process of eye donation

  • Create a space for empathy and experiential learning

  • Promote inclusion and accessibility through interactive engagement
