A DAY TO REMEMBER: INCLUSIVE PICNIC WITH HELEN KELLER INSTITUTE STUDENTS (Shivganga Water Park)

A DAY TO REMEMBER: INCLUSIVE PICNIC WITH HELEN KELLER INSTITUTE STUDENTS (Shivganga Water Park)

Overview:
For many, a water park is just a fun escape—but for the students of the Helen Keller Institute for the Deaf and Blind, it was a first. Making The Difference organized a soul-stirring picnic at Shivganga Water Park, Panvel, turning a regular day into a symphony of laughter, touch, and shared emotion.

For children who experience the world through unique senses, this day offered something more than entertainment—it offered connection. Students, caregivers, teachers, and parents came together to splash, smile, and celebrate the beauty of inclusivity outside the classroom walls.

Goals:
To provide an unforgettable, inclusive experience that promotes joy, emotional bonding, and social integration for children with hearing and visual impairments.
