Health Intervention Camp at Sushiladevi Deshmukh Vidyalay

Overview:
Good health begins with early awareness. To support the well‑being of adolescent students, MAKING THE DIFFERENCE organized a health intervention camp at Sushiladevi Deshmukh Vidyalay under its ongoing Project Lajja campaign. The initiative focused on preventive healthcare and nutrition awareness among school‑children.


Goals:
MAKING  THE  DIFFERENCE’s goal is to promote adolescent health by identifying nutritional deficiencies early and equipping students with tools for a healthier future.


Specifications:
• Camp conducted under Project Lajja at Sushiladevi Deshmukh Vidyalay
192 students screened
44 anemia cases identified
5 students referred for further evaluation
4 blood samples collected for CBC analysis
• Iron‑rich nutrition kits distributed


Milestones:
MAKING THE DIFFERENCE successfully delivered a transformative health camp, spotlighting anemia, referring critical cases, and providing nutrition kits. The effort laid a foundation for long‑term student wellness and strengthened preventive care in municipal schools.
