On 18th April 2024, Making The Difference  joined hands with Fiserv and United Way Mumbai to carry out a powerful CSR initiative focused on reforestation and sustainability. Hosted at Fiserv, the Plantation Drive was a unique employee engagement event where people didn’t just show up—they planted the future.

Using the innovative Miyawaki method, the drive led to the planting of a remarkable 4030 saplings in a single day.

This event saw the enthusiastic participation of:

• 21 employees from Fiserv

• 3 representatives from United Way Mumbai

• 10 committed volunteers from MTD

Their collective effort demonstrates what collaboration can achieve—creating a greener, healthier, and more hopeful world. The Miyawaki technique ensures dense, fast-growing forests, and each sapling planted will serve as a lasting contribution to climate resilience and urban biodiversity.

The event positively impacted 24 direct beneficiaries, including employees and volunteers who took part in hands-on environmental action.
