Overview:
In the heart of Pali district, an empowering conversation took centre stage as MAKING THE DIFFERENCE brought Project Lajja to Government Senior Secondary School, Jadan. What unfolded was not just an awareness session, it was a movement of voices rising together to break silence, spark dignity, and normalize menstrual health conversations for generations to come.


Goals:
Through Project Lajja, MAKING THE DIFFERENCE aims to normalize dialogue around menstruation, erase stigma, and equip students with knowledge and sustainable hygiene tools to lead healthier, more confident lives.

Location: Government Senior Secondary School, Jadan, Pali
186 students participated in the awareness session
• Led by Dr . Surabhi Chhabra
• Presence of Shri L. N. Mantri (District Collector) and Ms .Rishita Singh (NHAI), who inspired and encouraged open dialogue
Topics covered: Menstrual health, hygiene practices, and stigma reduction
• Distribution of eco-friendly hygiene kits and educational books


Milestones:
Project Lajja at Jadan wasn’t just informative, it was transformational. The presence of respected leaders elevated the session, encouraging open conversations among students. By equipping 186 young minds with eco-friendly menstrual kits and educational resources, the event planted seeds of awareness, confidence, and health, one school, one voice, one story at a time.
