Health First: Project Lajja’s Medical Camp Empowers Students at Shelgaon

Overview
Making The Difference Charitable Trust, in partnership with Interise and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Jalna Tollway Pvt. Ltd. (CSNJTPL), organized a medical camp at Z.P. School, Shelgaon under Phase II of Project Lajja. The initiative was conducted under the expert guidance of Dr. Shweta Rathod.


Goals
The primary aim of the camp was to promote timely diagnosis, basic healthcare, and health awareness among young students, focusing specifically on anemia detection and nutritional well-being.


Specifications
A total of 145 students underwent general health check-ups, anemia screening, and received personalized nutritional counseling. Iron supplements and nutrition kits were distributed to the 45 students identified as anemic. Additionally, 3 students were referred for CBC analysis due to critical indicators.
